For the price of an impulsive shopping trip to the mall, you can have expert personalized wardrobe advice! You will feel confident, appropriate and stylish in any situation.
GETTING STARTED
The best way to begin successfully managing your wardrobe is for me to visit you in your home to review what you already own and get your closets organized. During the wardrobe consultation process, I will discuss which styles of clothing and accessories work best for you. I will also work with you to identify what pieces you may want to add to your wardrobe to complement your lifestyle. I have a one-full-hour minimum for new clients. A typical first session at your home lasts between 2-4 hours. I am also available for a full day of consulting (8 hours) if arranged ahead of time.
The initial consultation at your home also includes travel to and from the appointment within a 30-mile radius of my home in eastern North Carolina. If you live outside my travel radius, a travel fee will be quoted when you book your appointment. If I am required to pay for parking or tolls when working with you at your home or when meeting you to shop at the store, I will add these fees to your invoice.
IMPLEMENTING YOUR SHOPPING PLAN
Many of my clients want my help implementing their shopping plan. I can do all of the shopping with you at the store or arrive early to select merchandise and have it ready for you to try on. I can also shop with you on-line or with catalogs in the privacy of your home or from my home office, and schedule a follow-up visit with you when the merchandise has arrived to assist with final selections.
Although I strongly encourage clients to take advantage of my at-home service before they shop, clients may opt to skip the at-home consultation and have me meet them at the store just to shop and get their fashion questions answered. If you meet me at the store, you are encouraged to bring clothes from your closet about which you have questions. I have a one-hour shopping minimum at the store for both new and repeat clients. Internet and phone shopping is billed in one-hour increments.
ALTERATIONS & REPAIRS
I will gladly recommend a tailor to alter your clothing. When I accompany a client to the tailor, my hourly fee is charged. In addition, I can assist you with shoe, purse and jewelry repair. I am also available to help you shop for wardrobe and accessory organizing products, such as hangers, racks, storage bins and drawer systems. My standard hourly rate is also charged for this service.
HAIR & MAKE-UP CONSULTATIONS
My image consulting service extends to hair and make-up advice and suggestions. I am also happy to make referrals to hair stylists and make-up artists that can assist you in further developing your personal style.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Your consultation time with me has been reserved exclusively for you. Should an unforeseen circumstance cause you to cancel your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before your scheduled meeting time are subject to the equivalent of a one-hour consultation fee.
PAYMENT TERMS & METHODS OF PAYMENT
You will be invoiced at the conclusion of each session and payment is due at this time. Clients are required to pay directly for merchandise bought via catalogs, the internet or at the store. I accept cash, credit cards and checks. Gratuities are not expected or accepted. Please contact me for a consultation quote.
